Sunset Point Cottage is a multiple exposure property facing south, west and north with a very private 700 ft of water front on 1.36 acres. We have ultimate privacy in a cozy and comfy Muskoka cottage on a stunning piece of island property that is gently sloping and caters to all ages in the family. This beautiful 4 bedroom family compound comfortably sleeps 10 people and is nestled on the crystal clear water of Lake Muskoka.

 

The main cottage has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed. Connected by the expansive deck, there is also a cabin with a bedroom (1 queen and twin bunkbeds) and bathroom, and an additional separate bunkie with twin beds. The interior of the cottage is warm and inviting. Each and every room is comfortably designed and decorated. The open concept living/dining/kitchen area, with carpeting throughout, (except the kitchen ) will be the main gathering place for the family to enjoy prepping meals at the large breakfast bar, dining together and relaxing while taking in views of the lake from every room.

 

Under all day sun, step out on the wrap-around deck with glass railings allowing for unobstructed views of the beauty before you while breathing in the fresh country air. Start your mornings off, cup of tea or coffee in hand, either on the sunny main level deck or lower shaded area under the trees on the shoreline. From here you are right at the water and have many stunning views out to the lake. For after-dinner beverages settle into the screened-in gazebo and relax looking out at the stunning sunsets over Lake Muskoka.

Both young and old will like the variety of ways to enjoy the water. You have the dock to jump off, the sandy beach which is great for young kids and the floating dock to play or relax on. There is also a lakeside deck and not one, but two boat slips. With an abundance of areas to choose from to sit and relax while taking in the peaceful surroundings, it will be hard to decide where to settle into for the day. With 2 kayaks and a stand-up-paddleboard at your disposal, take advantage of the early mornings, when the waters are at their calmest, and paddle on the lake as the mist rises off the water, magical.
